There are two types of garage passes: Hot and Cold. Hot passes are EXTREMELY hard to get. When the “hot pass is in effect” only those with a hot pass may be in the garage. Hot passes are in effect during Cup practices, Cup Qualifying and races. So, only those with a hot pass may be in the area, people with cold passes must leave.
